Unpacked, a division of OpenDor Media, is pleased to announce the launch of The Big Ten, a new series on the @BigJewishIdeas YouTube channel. The series invites viewers on a quest for personal growth and self-actualization through the Ten Commandments. The 11-part YouTube series proposes an innovative way of looking at the Ten Commandments in a uniquely inviting, clever and easygoing format. Written and hosted by Noey Jacobson, a former Maccabeat and popular figure on the American Jewish music scene, each episode takes a deep dive into one of the commandments, to address and shares what each one teaches us about the way we love, build family and community, pursue happiness and fulfillment, and strive to become better people.
“This series is what you get when you mix a deep thinker, biblical rules and YouTube,” says Jacobson. “I hope that by taking a journey to where the quest for personal growth and identity meets the foundation of Judeo-Christian civilization, we’ll open a window to self-discovery that takes us ten times farther and deeper than we could ever imagine.”
