OpenDor Media Announces Appointment of New CEO

The OpenDor Media Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Andrew Savage will be joining as CEO in the fall.

A seasoned development and education professional, he brings a wealth of experience leading social entrepreneurs and educational initiatives that make positive contributions to the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel.

Andrew grew up in London, England and began his career running student outreach programs at Cambridge and Oxford Universities. He founded the Forum for Jewish Leadership, a global educational organization that offers aspiring young leaders the opportunity to engage with leading professional and lay leaders from across the Jewish world and to explore the most important issues facing the Jewish people and Israel.

As Director for Germany of the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, he led a wide range of institutions that were responsible for formal and informal Jewish education across the country.

He comes to OpenDor Media directly after serving as Executive Vice President for the Tikvah Fund in New York, where he was responsible for the expansion of a community of adult learners and donors through the growth of the Tikvah Society, Open University classes and events and conferences. 

Andrew is a graduate of Oxford University, where he studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He completed Executive Education programs in nonprofit management at Harvard Business School and at Columbia  Business School.

As OpenDor Media CEO,  Andrew will be based in New Jersey, where he lives with his wife Leora and five children.
