About The Position

OpenDor Media (ODM), a leading global media, educational non-profit, is looking for a Graphic & Digital Designer to strengthen our digital presence. This role involves blending creative design with technical skills to improve user engagement across our digital platforms. As an essential member of our team, you will develop and implement design strategies that are both visually appealing and aligned with our educational mission and brand values.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who is technically skilled and focused on delivering practical and effective user experiences. By joining us, you will have a significant impact on how our content is experienced by our global audience.

This is a remote position reporting directly to our Creative Director. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Design graphics for our websites, email campaigns, presentations, and print materials, ensuring a cohesive visual experience across all platforms.
  • Develop and implement web pages for various campaigns using WordPress and Elementor, focusing on aesthetics and user experience.
  • Continuously update and refine website design elements to keep our digital presence fresh and engaging.
  • Research best practices to enhance usability and effectiveness of our digital content.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure design specifications are met and align with our brand’s vision

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise in graphic design, print design, web design, and user experience.
  • Expertise in design tools: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Xd, and comfortable with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Presentations).
  • Web development skills: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS; familiarity with WordPress and Elementor.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset: Able to use data to inform design decisions and improve user engagement.
  • Nice to Have: Skills in illustration, JavaScript, PHP, and experience with marketing automation tools like Pardot and Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker who thrives in a team environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Strong communication skills and native English.

Salary

Our target salary range for this position when based in the U.S. is $65,000 - $80,000 annually. In Israel, the salary range is 13,000 - 15,000 NIS/month. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience in similar roles, and expertise related to the qualifications.
