OpenDor Media is looking for a Production Coordinator to manage and oversee video production across multiple YouTube channels. This is a maternity cover position (3 months) with strong potential to continue as a permanent role.
Our YouTube channels cover Israel and Jewish history, Judaism, spirituality, and Jewish peoplehood. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of the video department, ensuring that every stage of production, from scripting through to final delivery, runs smoothly and on time.
What You’ll Do:
Production Management
- Oversee the full production lifecycle across multiple YouTube channels, from pre-production through final delivery.
- Ensure projects are set up correctly from the start — right team, timeline, and resources in place.
- Track progress across all productions, flag risks early, and resolve bottlenecks to keep everything on schedule.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Build and maintain production schedules across channels, keeping timelines realistic and up to date.
- Manage day-to-day coordination between writers, video crew, editors, and post-production teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Align with channel leads, editorial, social, and marketing on priorities, release dates, and schedule changes.
Script Pipeline
- Own the script pipeline from first draft to final approval, moving scripts through all review stages on time.
- Coordinate with writers and stakeholders to ensure each team has what they need at every stage.
Video Crew & Production Logistics
- Coordinate shoots, including crew scheduling, location logistics, and equipment.
- Ensure talent and freelancers are contracted, onboarded, and prepared ahead of each shoot.
- Serve as the on-set point of contact, keeping shoots organized and on schedule.
Post-Production
- Manage the post-production pipeline across channels, tracking edits through to on-time delivery.
- Coordinate feedback rounds between editors, producers, and channel leads to keep post moving efficiently.
- Ensure all final deliverables meet required standards before release.
Workflow Management
- Monitor workloads across the team to keep productions moving and prevent bottlenecks and burnout.
